As Thanksgiving approaches, many people pause to reflect on the blessings in their life. While it's only natural that family and friends top most people's gratitude list, it's important to also count the little things in life too. For example, it's easy to take our skin for granted. When in reality, it's our largest organ and for some equates to nearly 2 square meters!
There is always something to be grateful for when it comes to our skin. If you've been blessed with good genes or you have a rock solid regimen (surely thanks to an awesome aesthetician!), you might be thankful that you don't have any fine lines or wrinkles. Or, maybe you've always practiced good sun care and your skin is free from age-spots and damage.
Of course, when it comes to your skin, it's not always about how it looks either. Perhaps, you have not been the kindest to your skin over the years, but you are blessed to have caught things before enduring skin cancer. Or, maybe you have been impacted by melanoma, but you are a survivor!
There is always something to be grateful for in life, it's all about the lens in which you choose to view your circumstances. Don't forget about the little things, and remember every day is a new day to make a difference or right a wrong.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones!
